ABOUT ME
My name is Bethan, and my journey in hospitality began at the age of 15, growing up in the Conwy Valley. From an early stage, I developed a passion for food and the industry, which led me to study catering at college before taking the exciting step of working in London and Paris.
After spending eight years gaining experience in some incredible kitchens, I returned home to North Wales to run a small hotel in Betws-y-Coed, where I also started my family. During this time, I continued to develop my skills and knowledge, going on to complete a degree in Culinary Arts, which led to a role as a college lecturer, sharing my experience with the next generation of chefs.
More recently, I have worked as a General Manager within the hospitality industry, further strengthening my experience in delivering high standards of service and guest experience.
Now feels like the right time to bring everything together and follow my ambition of running my own business. Plât y Dyffryn is a reflection of my journey, combining years of experience, a passion for quality food, and a love for the local area.
Our meals can be either delivered on your arrival or during your stay, whilst you make the most of your time exploring the stunning surroundings. We bring delicious, home-cooked meals straight to your door. We value the importance of using fresh local ingredients in our dishes, each is prepared with care, flavour and convenience in mind.
